Scalp and Hair Oil

from $40.00

(A Symphonic Potion for the Perplexed Follicle)

Cue the vintage carousel music and an establishing shot of an apothecary nestled between a bonsai conservatory and a well-curated library. Enter: this curious little vial—a scalp and hair oil, concocted with the care and precision of a botanical detective.

At its base: a trio of deeply purposeful oils. Organic Castor Oil, thick and golden like late-summer honey, revered for its high concentration of ricinoleic acid—the quiet hero that whispers strength to roots and shine to strands. Then there’s Organic MCT Oil, feather-light and quick to absorb (the sprinter of the oil world), delivering nutrients without weighing you down. And Organic Black Seed Oil, that ancient remedy once found in Pharaoh’s tomb—bold, bracing, and excellent at reminding your scalp to behave.

Infused, not just blended, but truly infused—with Bamboo (for strength and silica-rich shimmer), Yerba Mate (the caffeinated cheerleader your follicles didn’t know they needed), and Rosemary (that evergreen wonder known to stir sleepy hair into song).

But wait, there’s more: a fragrant congress of essential oils convenes here.
Eucalyptus for clarity.
Rosemary (again!) for memory—of volume, of bounce.
Frankincense for a sacred hush on your scalp.
Cardamom, that warm and exotic murmur.
Lavender, because serenity is also part of growth.

Massage gently into your scalp like a well-practiced ritual. Leave on as a pre-wash crown treatment or sleep with it as your midnight muse.

Packaging Notes: Small glass bottle. Possibly apothecary amber. Definitely charming. Might look like it was lifted from a 1960s hair tonic commercial filmed in the Italian countryside.

For scalps that need stories. For strands that want to remember how to flourish.

    INGREDIENT SPECIFIC PRECAUTIONS:

    Castor Oil

    • Can clog pores and trigger breakouts in acne-prone skin.

    • May cause irritation or rash in sensitive individuals — always patch test.

    • Thick texture can weigh hair down if overused; best diluted with lighter oils.

    MCT Oil

    • Lightweight and fast-absorbing but can still trigger breakouts for oily or acne-prone skin.

    • Use sparingly on scalp to avoid greasiness.

    Black Seed Oil

    • Potent and may cause redness, itching, or rash; dilute before applying.

    • Can be drying in high concentrations; blend with nourishing oils for balance.

    • Avoid applying to broken skin or active eczema/psoriasis flare-ups without guidance.

    Yerba Mate (extracts/infusions)

    • Contains caffeine, which may increase circulation and tone skin but can also irritate sensitive or reactive skin.

    • Patch test — especially for those with rosacea or scalp sensitivity.

    Rosemary (essential oil or extract)

    • Essential oil must always be diluted (2–3 drops per tablespoon of carrier oil).

    • May cause irritation, itching, or dryness if too strong.

    • Avoid direct application on scalp if prone to eczema, dandruff, or skin sensitivity.

    • Can stimulate scalp circulation — avoid if you have inflamed or broken skin.

    Bamboo

    • Bamboo extract (silica): Strengthens hair and improves elasticity but can be drying if overused.

    • Patch test for dryness or tightness, especially on sensitive or dry skin types.
